Rodgers Other Information

Name:
Rodgers, Audrey  (McDonald)
Birth Date:
Co Number:
2
Title/Rank:
Chief Nurse/Capt.
Squad:
803rd
City, State, Zip:
Rosenburg, TXX 77471
Status:
Deceased
Remarks:
Deceased - beloved chief nurse of the unit in CBI - received Purple Heart. She is mentioned in Esther Moseley's book, LADY DON'T STOP HERE, and tells her story in my book, NO TIME FOR FEAR. I don't have much other info about Audrey McDonald. Since she was chief nurse she was probably a captain. I wrote 'deceased' on my file card, but not a date. Her previous address years ago was: Hwy 59, Spur 529, Rosenburg TX 77471, phone 713-342-6889. I do know she received a Purple Heart. Do you still get mail from Jeannette Gleason Boy? She was in that unit. Her story is in the website and one of the favorites when I give talks. She parachuted over China! The only one I know of to do such a thing. If someone else from the 803rd is alive, they may know more. Blessings, Diane
